Ordering and production process
How many working days does it take to produce a custom leather product?
To ensure the durability and finish of each piece, HATO Leather adheres to hand-stitching, edge burnishing and other artisanal processes. Typical production time is approximately 18 working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays). During peak order periods or for special custom requests, production time may be adjusted; we recommend allowing ample time when ordering anniversary or holiday gifts.
Can the portrait painting service be revised?
After the artist completes the portrait sketch, it will be sent to the customer for approval. Minor adjustments to details can be made; however, once painting has commenced following confirmation, a different photo cannot be substituted for a new painting. We recommend choosing a photo with clear lighting and distinct facial features for the best result.

How should I care for my leather product after receiving it?
植鞣皮含有天然油脂，日常頻繁使用（手部的油脂接觸）就是最好的保養。
- 防潮防濕：請避免接觸水漬、酒精或化學溶劑。如不慎沾水，請立即用乾布吸乾並置於陰涼處自然風乾，切勿使用吹風機。
- 定期滋養：建議每 3-6 個月使用專業的皮革保養油（如貂鼠油或馬油）輕抹表面，能幫助皮纖維保持彈性並延續皮革壽命。
What is the shipping fee for SF Express collect-on-delivery (COD)?
本店所有產品以順豐到付形式寄出。實際運費由順豐按收件地址及包裹重量計算：選擇順豐智能櫃取件約為 $16；寄送至住宅或工商地址約為 $30。最終費用以順豐收派員實際收取為準。
If a product is found to be defective upon receipt, can it be returned or exchanged?
除嚴重的製作失誤外，本店一律不設退換。在下單前，請先了解以下天然皮革與手工製品的特性：
- 天然皮革特徵：我們選用意大利植鞣牛皮，皮革表面之生長紋、疤痕、蟲咬痕跡或筋脈紋理均屬自然現象，並非瑕疵。
- 螢幕與實物色差：受拍攝光線及不同顯示器（如手機、電腦螢幕）影響，產品照片與實物可能存在輕微色差，顏色以實物為準。
- 手工製作痕跡：每一件手作皮件均親手裁切及縫製，可能存在微小的人工痕跡（如微小針孔、邊緣微差），這正是手工製品的溫度與特色。
我們在發貨前會進行嚴格質檢。如收到產品後發現非人為造成之嚴重製作失誤（如五金損壞、發錯款式），請於收貨後 48 小時內聯絡我們，我們會盡快為您處理。
